Databases and Resources


AU Library subscribes to more than 200 databases and other online resources covering subjects across the AU curriculum. You can access these tools by going to the Resources by Subject/Name page or by going to the Find Resources by Type page.

Most databases now provide full text so that you have access to articles instantly on your computer. If you come across an article that does not provide full text and instead only provides you with the citation, that is, the author, title, and publication information, you can use the AU Journal Title List to search for the full text in another database. How to find out if a particular journal is available full text:
  • To determine if a journal is available full text in the AU Library electronic or print (AUCAT) collections use: Search for a Journal Title.
