E-Journals

E-journals or electronic journals can be accessed:

  • Through the Databases page. This page provides access to the Library’s subscribed databases, as well as to databases and e-journal directories that are freely available through the web. The Journal Databases are a recommended starting point for locating journal articles on a topic.

  • Through the AU Journal Title List. This is a browseable and searchable listing of all of the journals available in electronic and/or print form in the Library’s collections, and includes both e-journals in subscribed databases and individual e-journals that the library subscribes to. Some of these individual e-journals may ask you to register at no cost. The Journal Title List is a recommended starting point for locating an article that you know about already - that is, a journal article that you have a citation for. To learn how to search the Journal Title List, view this tutorial.
