Please note:
The databases found here include those that will help you find journal articles and databases that will help you find other types of information, such as dissertations and theses, primary documents, and images. Some of these databases will allow you to find full text materials, while others will simply provide citations and abstracts. Using the navigation at the top of this page you can list databases alphabetically by title, list databases grouped by subject, or use the AU Journal Title List to see what journals are available full text from AU Library.
If you need help using the AU Journal Title List, view
a tutorial. This tutorial requires Flash. If you do not
already have it, you can download Macromedia's Flash
Player. It may be necessary in some web browsers to scroll
up or down to view the whole screen. There is a player at the
bottom of the screen should you wish to pause or rewind.
If you are unable to find a particular journal title or journal
article online contact the Library
Information Desk.
Should you encounter difficulties accessing databases consult
FAQs Regarding Remote Access
to Library Databases or contact the Library
Information Desk.
If you need help with security certificate errors in either Firefox or IE, please view this page.
Access to some of the databases available to AU faculty, staff and students has been provided through the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library (LHCADL). Athabasca University Library thanks the Government of Alberta for its generosity in funding the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library (LHCADL).
