As part of AU Library's ongoing efforts to provide staff and students with the most up-to-date technologies, AU Library is implementing some new "Web 2.0" technologies. We welcome any feedback to improve our current services, and any suggestions for new technolgoies that we may want to adopt.

LibX Toolbar
AU Library's LibX toolbar allows users quick access to specific library web pages and to search specific library resources. To learn how to use the toolbar, view this tutorial. To uninstall LibX, follow these instructions.
- Delicious
AU Library is using Delicious bookmarks to compile websites that may be useful in researching different subjects. Delicious, a social bookmarking site, allows users to tag their own resources and discover what other users have tagged.
The Facebook Group is a place for the AU Library community to share their experiences with AU Library, and to provide comments, suggestions, and ask questions to other community members regarding library services. The AU Librarians will be on hand to respond and share in the discussions with other library members. We encourage anyone on Facebook to join this group. The group page will frequently be updated on new events and useful tips from the AU Library staff. Join and get to know your Library!

A virtual bookshelf highlighting new and notable books in AU Library.

A visualization of keywords in the library catalogue.
- Zotero
Zotero [pronounced zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free, easy-to-use Firefox extension to help you collect, manage, and cite your research sources. It lives right where you do your work in the web browser itself. For a short 3 minute introductory video visit the blog tab. One of the many features of Zotero is as a citation management tool. It has 16 different citations styles automatically distributed to Zotero clients. To get started check out the support tab.
