English-French and French-English glossary for Business terminology.
The Electronic Collection of Library and Archives Canada (LAC) includes over 6000 Canadian book and periodical titles published online by commercial and government publishers. The publications exist in various formats, including HTML, PDF, ASCII and others and in some cases software such as Acrobat Reader is required to read the texts. Some titles are labeled "Restricted Access" and are accessible on-site at the LAC only.
Access poetry, drama, and fiction by Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican and other Latin writers working in the United States. The collection includes published, unpublished and rare materials dating primarily from the Chicano Renaissance to the present. Additional resources such as playbills and performance material, book covers, and flyers are included.
Access to The People's Law Dictionary by Gerald and Kathleen Hill, is provided by Law.com, a news and information network designed for legal professionals.
The ARTFL Project (University of Chicago) provides access to Le Grand dictionnaire historique, ou le Mélange curieux de l'Histoire sacrée et profane, etc., compiled by Louis Moréri from 1671 to 1759. Moréri’s dictionnaire was an important predecessor to modern encyclopedias and went through 20 editions before it succumbed to Diderot and d'Alembert’s Encyclopédie. Moréri’s work defended the worldview of the Roman Catholic Church, and emphasized historical and biographical entries.
